Meet GSCCC volunteer Gina Duffy! 💚 When Gina and her husband retired from jobs in northern New Jersey, they moved to Chesapeake, Virginia to be with their daughter and their two-year-old granddaughter. Having volunteered actively with Girl Scouts in New Jersey, serving in several leadership roles for more than 20 years, Gina immediately contacted Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast upon arriving in Chesapeake. Lucky for us, this Girl Scout alum has found a place as a Girl Scout volunteer and outdoor facilitator in our council! https://lnkd.in/esTTQDDk #gsccc #GirlScouts #gsVolunteers

Girl Scout alum Suzanne Moss believes she has one of the best jobs in the world, because she gets to share her love for nature every day through a program she built from the ground up: The Nature Bus!💚🌱 This Virginia Beach resident has carried her outdoor interests, which began as a Girl Scout, into her adult life, making sure she introduced her own children to the outdoors in different ways. “I loved my experience as a girl in the program — selling cookies, earning badges, making friends, going on adventures. I want to give back and, perhaps, recapture some of that magic I had in my life as a child!” Read the full story and find information on The Nature Bus, its programs, and how to reach Suzanne here- https://lnkd.in/eB2Uw5Fx #gsccc #GirlScouts #womeninSTEM #gsAlum
