Case Study // Richmond Jazz & Music Festival // “Seeing Sounds” RJMF is a premier music event on the east coast. This year brought star power with Wyclef Jean as this Artist in Residence and, as he called it, a “class reunion” of his peers including Ludacris, Monica, Fantasia, Andra Day and The Lox. Altogether more than 30 artists hit the stage from August 9-11. #RJMF has been curated and produced by Richmond-based firm, JMI, since the festival’s inception in 2010. GJC Publicity was brought on board this year to assist them in amplifying social media and national press.
