Updates

  • Many people choose to adopt an infant or toddler in the United States. That’s how Gladney got started in 1887, and our mission to find loving homes for all children continues today. Each adoption, like each family, is unique. Our goal is to get to know you and understand your unique situation so that, together, we can customize your adoption experience to meet your needs.

  • There’s something undeniably beautiful about receiving a dandelion bouquet from a child. Their little hands, smelling of sunshine and dirt, clutch those cheerful yellow blooms with pride. That joy is contagious, spreading from the tiniest, toothy grin to the grateful parent. In those moments the world seems to slow down. As they run off and you hear the sound of giggles—the kind that makes everything feel right. At Gladney, we hold these moments close to our hearts. Every child deserves these moments. It's our mission to make sure every child experiences this—the simple, beautiful moments of family life. Because in those moments, hearts grow, bonds form, and the world becomes a better place. 🌼

  • Adoption Rocks is more than just a concert, it’s an opportunity to stand together and recognize the difficult and brave choice birth parents make when they choose an adoption plan, the ability to gain new perspectives from adoptees, advocate for children in state foster care and international orphanages, and to feel united by an adoption constellation of many family members whose lives are forever impacted by adoption. Will you join us in kicking off National Adoption Month at Adoption Rocks 2024? Tickets and VIP lawn seating available at: https://lnkd.in/gCDY9P-G

  • Adopting an infant with special needs requires patience, preparation, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected. But with the right resources and support, you can provide a loving home where your child is safe, supported, and cherished. Be sure to take advantage of the resources available to you in your state, ask questions, and surround yourself with a community that can guide you on this extraordinary journey.

  • We have seen the miracle of what sharing and advocacy can do to help find the right family for a child or a sibling group like this one. Please continue to share the need for these brothers as time is critical. In the spirit of hope and love, we want to share the need of three brothers—Collin, Chris, and Crew. These siblings have shared an unbreakable bond throughout their lives, but now, as Crew nears the age where he will age out of the system, time is running out. Without the love and commitment of a special family, these boys face separation. Interested in learning more about these children or about adopting from Colombia? Please email: Misty.Lucas@gladney.org. https://lnkd.in/gWs_vE9q
