Eight finalists will compete for five spots for a chance to win $25,000 at the 2024 Wave of Opportunity pitch competition on November 21 in Bermuda. This week, Global Atlantic’s Hartford office launched its annual giving campaign in partnership with United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. Our focus is on giving back to the local communities by addressing essential needs like food insecurity, shelter and community support. Entrepreneurs from across the country competed in SCORE Mentors’ 60th Anniversary Pitch Competition for the chance to win $175,000 in prize money while receiving incredible mentorship, training and national exposure. SCORE -- the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) – hosted the series of pitch events in honor of its 60 years of serving America’s small businesses.
