We love to see it! Thanks to Rachel Warren Bigham, SHRM-CP for attending the conference and bringing back awesome ideas.
The SHRM St. Louis Leadership Conference continues with incredible afternoon breakout sessions! 💡 We’re gaining valuable insights on creating a Culture of Career & Growth Planning from Betsy Grzybinski and aligning DEI with business strategies thanks to Larnise Boain, SPHR, PMP. Sam Newman & Melissa Pesce are tackling how to manage the complexities of a post-COVID workforce amidst rising political speech & accommodation requests, while Kimberly L. Bolourtchi is showing us how Unruly Leadership can spark next-level success. 🚀 💬 Which session are you attending, and what’s been your biggest takeaway? Let us know! #LeadLiftEvolve #SHRMSTLLC24 #HRLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #DEIinAction #CareerGrowth

We're so happy to have Alyse on our team! 🎉
Yesterday marked my first anniversary Global Leisure Management and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate! I got to visit Adventures of Intrigue, a St. Louis attraction I hadn’t been to yet and was really excited to experience. It’s one of many amazing places I’ve traveled to, learned about, and had fun at over the past year. Looking forward to more adventures and discoveries ahead!

Earlier this week, we participated in our quarterly service initiative, GLM Cares, by volunteering with Seed St. Louis. Our team had a great time getting our hands dirty at a small community garden with Peggy, the garden leader. We cleaned up the grounds, planted new flowers, and mulched the beds! A highlight of the morning was sitting and chatting with Peggy, learning about the incredible impact these gardens have on the local community. We're grateful for the opportunity to give back and look forward to the next GLM Cares event!

Just wrapped up an incredible time at the Florida Attractions Association 2024 Annual Conference! Held at the picturesque World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL, the event provided not only insightful sessions and amazing networking opportunities but also a chance to catch up with good friends. Huge appreciation to the conference coordinators and FAA for orchestrating such a memorable experience. Here's to 75 years of FAA! Excited to bring back new ideas and connections to drive our company forward!

As part of our outreach program, GLM Cares, our team had the privilege of volunteering at the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery today. The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides trauma-informed emergency intervention, 24-hour respite care, and essential support to families in crisis, playing a crucial role in preventing child abuse and neglect. Their programs empower families to resolve crises, build resilience, and access critical resources, significantly enhancing family safety and stability. Over their 38-year history, they have served over 136,000 children, with nearly 4,000 benefiting from their services this year alone. We spent our morning sorting donated personal hygiene products, food items, clothing, and diapers to support the mission of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery. We are extremely proud of our team for their unwavering dedication and ability to tackle any task with a strong work ethic. Through GLM Cares we engage in quarterly community volunteer activities, maintaining a 100% participation rate. We are committed not only to giving back but also to understanding the vital contributions of local organizations. Where should we volunteer next?

🌟 Celebrating Women's History Month! 🌟 At GLM, we understand the power of representation. As a woman-owned and led business, we're committed to being leaders in our communities. GLM team member Angela Goeppinger, ICAP serves on the Partnership Grand Strand board, an initiative to improve quality of life for residents and businesses across the Grand Strand. Through PGS, Angie recently welcomed a group of local English and Spanish-speaking students on a tour at SkyWheel Myrtle Beach. The students' purpose in visiting was to explore additional opportunities available in the Grand Strand area. Angie, who is bilingual and a woman of color, took this opportunity to connect and share her inspiring journey, emphasizing perseverance, dedication, and embracing discomfort on the road to success. She also stressed the importance of continuous growth through learning from various educational resources such as books and classes. Thank you Angie for empowering the next generation to dream big! #WomensHistoryMonth #Empowerment #Leadership

Our team had a heartwarming experience volunteering at the St. Louis Area Foodbank on February 15. As part of our GLM Cares initiative, we spent the afternoon helping build boxes for seniors in our area and then packaging potatoes for mobile food events. Along with other local volunteers we packaged 9,084 meals! That is enough to feed one person for 8.3 years! The St. Louis Area Foodbank serves over 600 hunger relief programs and agencies in 26 counties between Missouri and Illinois. One in nine people in the area face hunger, and one in five children do. With rising costs of food, St Louis Area Foodbank has seen an increase of 11% in food need while suffering a 16% decrease in donations. We were happy to bring a donation of canned meat as requested and look forward to volunteering with the foodbank again. 🧡
