Founded in 1914, JC Penny had called New York home for decades, occupying an impressive 1.5-million-square-foot headquarters on Sixth Avenue since 1964. When it came time for their big relocation, we were proud to assist in moving over 3,800 employees to their new offices. This week's project highlight, the successful move for Partnership with Children from 299 Broadway to their new offices at 1 Battery Park Plaza! Not only did we handle four truckloads of office furniture, technology, files, and more, but we also expertly broke down, moved, and reinstalled all essential shelving units. Discovery to their stunning new offices at 30 Hudson Yards, the second-tallest office building in New York and home to the highest outdoor observation deck in New York City.
