California’s updated 2024 cannabis packaging regulations focus on consumer safety, sustainability, and compliance. Businesses must now adhere to stricter rules, including Proposition 65 warnings, use of recyclable materials, and accurate product labeling with THC content and health warnings. Co-packaging and white-labeling firms have distinct regulatory roles, and failure to comply can result in legal penalties. GMP Labeling provides custom labeling solutions to help businesses meet these requirements while maintaining brand integrity. https://lnkd.in/gfXC-t66

Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilization is a crucial process in the manufacturing, distribution, and use of many medical devices. This method ensures that medical instruments and devices are free from harmful microorganisms, but there's a vital detail that often escapes our attention—labels that can withstand sterilization. 💡 The EtO Sterilization Process: EtO sterilization is a widely used method in healthcare for its ability to penetrate packaging materials and effectively sterilize a wide range of medical equipment. It's a lifesaver, quite literally. 🔍 The Labeling Challenge: The labels affixed to medical instruments and devices must survive the EtO sterilization process. They should remain legible, ensuring crucial information like expiration dates, lot numbers, and usage instructions are readily available to healthcare professionals. 🏆 The Unsung Heroes - Sterilization Labels: EtO-resistant labels play an unsung but critical role. These labels are designed to endure the sterilization process, maintaining their integrity and legibility. They are the bridge that connects vital information with life-saving actions. 🧪 Ensuring Quality and Safety: Labels that can withstand EtO sterilization are not just a convenience; they are a necessity. They are a safeguard against errors, ensuring that medical professionals have access to accurate information when they need it most. 🌐 Beyond Healthcare: The need for resilient labels extends beyond healthcare. In industries like pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics, labels that survive sterilization are equally vital to ensure product safety and quality. Reach out to us to learn more if your operation incorporates EtO Sterilization methods and you are in search of a label that can withstand EtO. https://lnkd.in/gpiE6Xim

OSHA has finalized the update to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), which will align chemical labeling standards with the seventh revision of GHS standards. Per US Department of Labor, any business where employees “could be exposed to hazardous chemicals” is required to comply with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. This update will promote greater employee safety, information uniformity across the supply chain, and reduce international trade barriers. The final ruling may impact chemical labels used in your operation. Learn more about the change and how GMP Labeling can help you maintain compliance, promote safety, and reduce regulatory head aches. https://lnkd.in/gfQCC87N
