Wrapped up the 3rd year of Teleport's user conf last week. It was a great opportunity to meet many customers, share lessons and learn from the best practitioners in the field. My session wasn't recorded, but was a great conversation exploring access management challenges, productivity gains, and compliance achievements with Gary Tong from Cisco. We discussed how Teleport has streamlined operations, supported FedRAMP compliance, and influenced their zero trust approach. These in-person events always leave me with new perspectives and questions. What's been your most valuable takeaway from a recent conference?

Wow, what a couple of weeks it has been! Teleport Connect 2024 in San Francisco was beyond amazing. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many brilliant minds—new faces, old friends, customers, and colleagues who make this community so special. Every conversation reminded me why I love being a part of this journey. 🙌 Today marks 1 year at Teleport. 🎉 It’s hard to believe it’s already been 365 days since I joined this incredible team. I’ve grown so much, continue learning from some of the best in the industry, and feel so supported every step of the way. Thank you all for making this past year unforgettable. 🙏 💜 I’m so grateful for the opportunities, the people, and the challenges that have pushed me to be better. Last week, we welcomed Teleport employees, customers, and infrastructure security enthusiasts from around the globe to #TeleportConnect2024 — our third annual user conference! From team-building activities on Monday to our Customer Advisory Board sessions on Tuesday, a full day of insights from cybersecurity leaders on Wednesday, and our in-person All Hands on Thursday—it was inspiring to see so many passionate minds come together—just in time for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Some of the key takeaways from the week include: 1️⃣ Market: Identity attacks are on the rise and getting more sophisticated 2️⃣ People: People make mistakes! We need to eliminate human error 3️⃣ Unification: Unifying access control identities across heterogeneous infrastructure brings BIG benefits 4️⃣ Partnership: We are in this together - from technical partners, to design partners and more. We need to learn from each other! 5️⃣ YOU! The attendees and participants who care about the cybersecurity industry, and employees of Teleport who work tirelessly on our mission of bringing trust to the internet—without you, none of this would be possible. The second week at Teleport was a blast! I got to visit San Francisco, meet my new coworkers and fellow new hires, and attend the Teleport Connect conference. Last week was a breath of fresh air getting to meet so many welcoming coworkers and customers. I'm feeling really good and looking forward to helping build the easiest and most secure way to access and protect all your infrastructure.
