At the ASCA 2023 conference we discovered Worktour.com, an excellent immersive career exploration solution that helps students make the connection between college and career. Worktour provides virtual tours of real workplaces online or on mobile—no VR goggles needed! Its features include in-depth information on over 80 in-demand careers, interviews with professionals describing their day-to-day responsibilities and how their team works, to get a complete sense of what a workplace would be like. Job vocabulary and workforce concepts are introduced and explained through interactive games and illustrated infographics, along with required training, college accreditation, and job skills details.
