Was invited to hear madam vice president #kamalaharris and his honorable Governor Roy Cooper for North Carolina discuss North Carolina's approach to the treasury grant SSBCI 2.0* program. Three punchlines: 1. NC SSBCI 2.0 generates a 3:1 multiplier on federal equity stimulus dollars...I like that multiplier 2. As an "independent voter" I have to say Kamala Harris and Roy Cooper both had excellent stage presence. Talented orators. 3. I'm excited to explore this program on my journey financing Goldie Health.

Great article from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill about Goldie Health
Eshelman Innovation, within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, is set to launch a new health tech platform aimed at serving patients with opioid use disorder. The new platform, Goldie, is a case management tool for community paramedics and peer support specialists serving these patients. Eshelman Innovation has chosen coastal Carteret County to be one of the first locations to pilot Goldie. Learn how the tool provides an effective method for field personnel to automate manual documentation and tasks, produce evidence of results and provide opportunities for collaboration https://unc.live/3OEAjnN

Thanks to Digital Health Institute for Transformation (DHIT), the #NCHIDSummit, and Matthew Floyd for a last minute pitch opportunity. A little while before the pitch competition, Matt Floyd asked me to pinch pitch ... an innovator cancelled last minute ... and suddenly I got a table and 3-minute pitch! Great conference and a great experience. Let me know how my pitch was!
