Long overshadowed by the city’s spectacular beaches, food, and entertainment, Los Angeles’ cocktail scene might not look exactly the same as those celebrated in other major international cities, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less robust and exciting. https://bit.ly/3LJSLJQ

Brasserie de la Mule has an unusual focus for a Belgian brewery: craft lagers. That emphasis on classic German styles has proven to be a winning approach, earning plaudits from local brewers and a growing fan base in the historic Brussels neighborhood of Schaerbeek. https://lnkd.in/e8_Y4UMu

An important message from founder Michael Kiser on the future of GBH Read it here: https://lnkd.in/eRejTixp Listen to it here: https://lnkd.in/erqWE2P4 The gist: we’re entering an indefinite hiatus - for many reasons. Some are natural pressures: financial, existential, etc Some are ambitions: quieting everything down, giving some space, listening for what’s next. We have some aspects already in the works - but they’re so different from what GBH currently is that a platform-wide reset is the only way forward. We also don’t have a specific timeline or distribution plan in place yet. There’s much to do. It’s a scary, anxious, heartfelt and bold decision - but it’s one made with longevity, purpose, and hope at the center. For the many MANY amazing contributors to GBH over these 15 years - you’ve helped create something profound. Something that almost never happens. If you want to stay updated on that comes next, as it organically takes shape, sign up for the newsletter or continue following on social. It’ll be quiet for awhile.

Melissa Hart digs into the motivations behind that hard work. https://lnkd.in/etji9-ba
