The all-in-one platform for freight orchestration and procurement

About us

GoodShip is the first all-in-one platform for freight orchestration and procurement. Our innovative software helps shippers optimize their freight spend and service outcomes, while enhancing collaboration among internal teams and carrier partners. Our platform brings together disparate data sources (e.g., tender data, real-time location, contract awards, market benchmarks) to offer shippers a comprehensive view of their transportation network. With our advanced recommendation engine, users can identify the highest impact opportunities to save money, improve on-time service, and reduce reliance on the spot market. More than just analytics, GoodShip provides actionable insights directly within the platform. Transportation teams can easily take corrective actions, such as renegotiating contract rates, initiating performance alerts, or running off-cycle and network-wide bids with best-in-class, purpose-built procurement tools. These capabilities give shippers the agility and resilience to optimize their networks amidst volatile market conditions and shifting carrier performance.

Today GoodShip is excited to announce our new data partnership and platform integration with DAT Freight & Analytics! The new embedded DAT iQ rates unlock another avenue for GoodShip customers to benchmark their transportation network performance and uncover cost savings — all directly within the GoodShip platform. GoodShip and DAT built a streamlined, self-service onboarding process for their mutual customers. Shippers simply input their DAT credentials within the GoodShip platform to activate the integration, after which they can configure refresh frequency and customize parameters of the data feed to best support their unique business needs and workflows. DAT iQ rates will also help power GoodShip’s procurement features and recommendation engine, providing users with actionable insights on where in their network they’re overpaying to market and how carrier bids compare to current rates. “Our ability to mine data, understand the market, and collaborate with strategic carrier partners is critical to both our own success and that of the shippers we represent. GoodShip has provided KBX Logistics with an exceptional technology platform that allows our team to quickly discover insights and then drive meaningful actions and improvements." - Jamie Hess VP of Global Procurement at KBX Logistics The integration is now available to all GoodShip customers with a DAT iQ Subscription. After a week of quarterly carrier reviews, the best thing that I can hear from our carriers is that GoodShip enables them to keep an eye on the lanes they are hauling for us- and fix anything BEFORE it becomes a problem. Result: Higher KPI's. So you have ability to focus on other tasks as your carriers have the tools to self monitor and adjust accordingly. Ryan Soskin and I had a conversation last week about our days as carrier representatives for the brokerages we worked for. Nothing is more frustrating than the waste of time of going into a review only to have your shipper/customer blindside you with data you don't have access to. Instead of collaborating on how to build a stronger network, the conversation turns to tedious cross-checking. Carriers want to do a good job for their shippers. And sometimes, like shippers, they are so busy putting out fires it's hard to see if a fire is coming from the same lanes. Working as a team always has the best results when everyone involved is on the same page.

Between phone calls, emails, and messaging apps, there are many ways for transportation stakeholders to stay connected — and to lose critical details in transit. When important network decisions are being made across channels and without a single source of truth, it can be impossible to keep every collaborator fully in the loop, slowing down operations and creating invisible gaps of understanding between individuals and teams. GoodShip’s in-app messaging features ground conversations in data, keeping discussions contextualized, up to date, and all in one place. With the ability to comment directly on relevant carrier and lane records, tag teammates, and easily filter and search through conversation archives, shippers can keep critical details out of convoluted email chains and in a single, centralized inbox. From decision to execution, GoodShip is the all-in-one platform for freight orchestration and procurement. Learn more at our new website goodship.io and schedule your demo today.
