GMC recently joined the City of Montgomery for a groundbreaking ceremony at Dean Fain Park, marking the start of an exciting new addition: 12 state-of-the-art pickleball courts! Featuring high-quality acrylic surfaces and a player-friendly design, these courts will offer an exceptional experience for players of all skill levels. The new facility will enhance the 40-acre sports complex, adding even more fun and competition to the Montgomery community. The project is partially funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), helping turn this vision into reality. The Carolinas are expanding! GMC is further investing in the Carolina Region with the addition of our Rock Hill, South Carolina office! With current offices in Charlotte, Greenville, Charleston and Columbia, the Rock Hill location will allow GMC to better serve existing and new clients within this region. GMC is so excited to be entering our second year in partnership with the Dumas Wesley Community Center's After School Achievement Program, where we have the opportunity to lead quarterly hands-on STEAM workshops designed to ignite students’ imagination and creativity. Preserving the past, building tomorrow! Earlier this week, Commerce Main Street celebrated the transformation of a 130-year-old textile factory into its new Administrative Complex, representing a beautiful blend of history and forward progress. Located in the heart of downtown, GMC, in partnership with Grahl Construction, LLC, worked hard to preserve the building’s charm, carefully maintaining its historic character while redesigning the interior with modern functionality. The new complex features the city hall offices, council chambers and event spaces, all united by a stunning three-story atrium. Clearing and grubbing of the the site for the new James Fisher Memorial Foundation YMCA in the East Argent development in Hardeeville, SC is moving along. Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is excited to be working with The Beaufort Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry and JE Dunn Construction to bring this new YMCA to the community.
