Goodyear proudly returned to the iconic Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, celebrating tradition and showcasing cutting-edge technology. This year, we’re honoring The Ohio State University and The University of Texas at Austin with stunning tire art sculptures featuring our latest WeatherReady 2 tires. These 5 ½ feet tall, 200-pound sculptures, created by Blake McFarland, symbolize our commitment to performance and reliability and uniquely captured the spirit of each team through their iconic helmet designs. Each sculpture took more than a week to complete, and the result is truly impressive. We’ve collaborated with TNO again to push the boundaries of vehicle safety with Goodyear SightLine, our suite of tire intelligence solutions. Together, we’ve demonstrated that SightLine can help automatic emergency braking (AEB) systems make smarter, faster braking decisions—even on wet or icy roads—enhancing performance beyond today’s standards. Our tests show improved crash mitigation at speeds up to 80 kph (50 mph), which can help drivers stay safer in more conditions. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g-iTJ-4N

Last week, our Goodyear Auto Service Center in Toledo, OH welcomed Electra Vehicles, Inc. as they made their cross-country journey to CES 2025. Booked through the AndGo by Goodyear service platform, our certified technician performed a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle (including its factory-installed Goodyear tires) and certified that the Electra team was ready to complete the road trip to Las Vegas. Our year-long celebration of the Goodyear Blimp’s 100th anniversary is officially underway. Today, we kicked off the first moment in our campaign at the Rose Bowl in Pasedena, California, which also marks the 70th anniversary of aerial coverage, a concept the Goodyear Blimp pioneered in 1955. As part of the launch, we announced our intention to fly over 100+ cities across North America and Europe where our blimps operate, bringing our iconic blimp closer to fans with appearances in new cities and events.
