GO Virginia Region 9 and DHCD staff toured BEACON's Kitchen last week. We met Yolunda Harrell, CEO & Founder of New Hill Development Corporation, at the pilot kitchen on Market Street, where orders were being filled by entrepreneurs. After reviewing blueprints for the future project site, we met Garnett, the site superintendent, at the project site on Carlton Ave and took in the scale of a 74-foot range hood! Drywall installation just began, and the kitchen will be in working order by fall.
