Approximately 1 in 8 women and 1 in 830 men in the US develop breast cancer during their lifetimes. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, GQG donated monitors to the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, where proceeds provide innovative research, breast cancer education, access to lifesaving screenings, and funding for mammogram programs.

GQG is thrilled to welcome our second class of Asset Management Associates to our New York-based program. Our AMA program provides mentorship, comprehensive investing education coursework, and the opportunity to work with various teams across GQG. Affan Ahmed, from Dubai, received his BS in Economics and graduated with honors from King's College in London. Prior to GQG, Affan worked as a strategy consultant for two years, where he focused on the private sector. Isabella Fonseca, originally from Seattle, recently received her BA in Neuroscience with a minor in Computer Science from Barnard College, Columbia University. She most recently interned at a fashion startup, where she conducted market research and prepared analysis reports that informed business decisions. Cate D., originally from Seattle, is a Vanderbilt University cum laude graduate who majored in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Arabic. She spent two years as a consultant providing market research on competitor teardowns and identifying market opportunities. Julia Frederick, originally from Connecticut, received her BA in Communications and Media with a minor in User Interface and User Experience Design from the University of Michigan with distinction. Previously, Julia worked as a strategy consultant focusing on risk and compliance. Amy Weiner, originally from Chicago, is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Most recently, she interned as a consulting summer analyst, where she helped to transform the operational efficiency of a prominent global energy company. Jonathan Banza, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in South Africa, is a recent graduate of Westminster College. He received his BA in International Business and Global and Transnational Studies with a minor in Economics. He was the leader of a student-led investment committee that managed an equities portfolio of over $1.4 million. Jonathan was an Investment Analyst Intern at GQG in 2023, where he was based in our Fort Lauderdale office.
