Grand Rapids Chamber reposted this
Yesterday, there was a big turnout at the Grand Rapids Chamber of business people seeking solutions to the coming paid sick leave and minimum wage changes. Chamber members and business people across Michigan are concerned and confused. We joined with the Small Business Association of Michigan, Michigan Manufacturers Association, and Michigan Chamber of Commerce for the event to help call on our lawmakers to help with solutions, and soon. As Kelli Saunders from SBAM said, “We’re not here to be confrontational. We’re here to work together to get this done. Time is not on our side.” With just a session day left to make the changes, Joshua Lunger added, “We are hopeful that the Legislature will recognize the urgency of the situation and work on consensus solutions quickly.” https://lnkd.in/d2J7ssWw

Great celebrating with Truscott Rossman as they unveiled their sponsored space in our downtown office! Proud to partner in supporting Grand Rapids businesses. 🎉
It was a great day celebrating our ribbon-cutting at the Grand Rapids Chamber— on National Chamber of Commerce Day, no less! We are proud to sponsor our very own Truscott Rossman space within the Chamber’s downtown office. 🎉 Our partnership with the Chamber has been long-standing, and we’re excited to be part of such a welcoming, vibrant environment. TR is proud to be a member and fully aligns with the Chamber’s mission to support Grand Rapids and its local businesses. 📷: Allie Walker Ryan Gajewski Jeremy Witt Elliot Talen Chris Tippett Andy Johnston Rodney L.
