As the days get colder, something as simple as a blanket or scarf could be what it takes for someone to make it to the next day. We do our best to prepare winter-weather items for our clients, but our community's generosity ultimately supports us in providing that care. Thanks to Bobby Lane with Amazon, Grove, we received a generous donation of blankets, hand warmers, socks, scarves, gloves, and stocking caps. These items will ensure our clients are cared for and protected during winter. If you're unsure what to do and say to someone recently diagnosed, here are some tips shared by a breast cancer survivor on our staff: WHAT TO SAY: - "I hate this and you're not alone." - "You have people behind you, with you, and on your team."
