The SBA 504 Loan Program enables small businesses to acquire long-term subordinated debt at below market rates. By working together with local banks, we have become the largest CDC in New England, providing approximately $600 million of financing to over 1000 small businesses in New Hampshire since receiving certification in 1982. We are also happy to offer financial assistance and advisory services, direct through GSDC to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont companies seeking a source of gap financing otherwise not available through conventional lending sources. ICYMI 504 REFI CHANGES COMING SOON! (Effective 11/15 assuming direct final rule release on 10/1-Happy New fiscal year!) The 20 & 25 year effective rates are below 6%. If at least 75% of the ORIGINAL loan to be refinanced was for owner occupied real estate or equipment with a useful life of at least 10 years. Now (actually 45 days from now) would be a great time to consider refinancing! Great time to start pulling together financials to be ready day 1. Always happy to jump on a call and discuss any projects (508-269-2668). Some highlights from yesterday's Policy update call: 😁 Up to 90% Loan to Value for all loans (including with eligible business expenses*) 😁 Eligible business expenses no longer limited to % of project 😁 Other secured debt can be included 😁 10% cash flow improvement not a hard/fast requirement (substantial benefit must be documented/discussed) *Eligible business expenses generally represent operating expenses to be incurred over the next 18 months (i.e. salaries, rent, utilities etc.) The 504 application will be updated to reflect these changes as well as the criminal justice reforms - waiting on the 508 (ADA) compliance. #SBA504REFI Granite State Development Corp.
