Stories are how you connect to people. Whether through video, graphics, writing, or whatever format you use, weaving information within a story makes it feel more real and applicable. Creating a relatable, recognizable situation to tell your audience about what you can do for them will take you much further than simply sharing features and statements. #Storytelling #MarketingTips #Connection #GravityGroup

We all know the feeling of never having enough time. We also know how frustrating it is to not be able to find information while simultaneously being bombarded with repetitive ads and messaging. It can feel like our time is being wasted, information is purposefully hard to access, and frankly, that we aren’t being respected as consumers. Two of our recent Brand Story podcast guests talk with our president, Steve Gilman, about knowing the precious value of your audience’s time and how not to waste it. Check out this month’s Brand & Marketing Resources newsletter to find out a bit more about these episodes and some of their valuable insights on respecting your audience’s attention. It won’t be a waste of your time 😉 #TimeIsValuable #RespectYourAudience #BrandStoryPodcast

We recently put the finishing touches on a documentary-style video we made for Acoustical Sheetmetal Company to showcase their amazing company culture and high standards of quality and excellence. To celebrate our months of hard work, we had a team watch party - complete with movie snacks! It’s easy to move right into the next thing, but take time to celebrate your accomplishments. What project have you finished or task have you checked off recently that deserves a moment of celebration? Let us know in the comments, and we’ll celebrate with you 😄

Pause, breathe, count to 8. That's the amount of time you have to get someone's attention - which may not feel like enough. You might want to tell your audience every single amazing thing about your company & services, but even the most interested reader has a limited capacity. Highlighting the impact your product/service can have rather than a list of features & capabilities makes for more effective messaging and will resonate with your audience more. TLDR: saying too much will stop you from being heard. #EffectiveMessaging #ConciseCommunication #Marketing

❗Reminder: every bit of messaging you publish is a brand impression. That includes where you publish it and how often. So the next time you plan out your media placement, ask yourself — are you building brand love? or brand hate? In our newest episode of Brand Story, we sit down with the incredible Ross Martin, President and Co-Founder of Known, to discuss what brands are doing right and wrong with their marketing efforts. The conversation features a look at how companies are creating digital waste and stories of successful campaigns from Ross’s time working with iconic brands. It’s an episode with our president, Steve Gilman, you won’t want to miss. AI is quickly becoming part of daily life for many of us and the pace of its implementation can at times be daunting. Whether you’re completely stoked or pessimistically hesitant, learning more about AI, experimenting with it, and deciding the role you’d like it to play in your organization can be incredibly useful — even for marketers and creatives. As the founder of Unblocked Future, a strategy firm focused on accelerating the effective adoption of transformative technology, Alison McCauley has some great insights on how to approach integrating AI into your organization in intentional and thoughtful ways. On our 72nd episode of the Brand Story podcast, she shared thoughts on where AI is & where it’s heading, the roles that it can play in your business, and how to harness its potential without over-implementing. Listen to it here https://lnkd.in/easnDR5a or on your favorite podcast platform. For more of her thoughts and resources about working with AI check out https://lnkd.in/efNmYCX9 and join the waitlist for her new book (we're already on there)! The one thing we really have control over is how we see things. We can’t control what’s happening around us or what others do — but we can always choose how we react. and what we focus on. It's one of our superpowers — we can turn tough situations into learning experiences and find silver linings in dark clouds. How many times have you thought something was a problem only to realize that it was just the way you were looking at it? When we realize the power of our own perceptions we can stay grounded no matter what comes our way, help ourselves see the humor and beauty in things and show up for the people who need us.
