Green Rock Energy Partners Managing Partner and Co-Founder Cody Myers recently appeared on Nasdaq #TradeTalks to discuss the rapid emergence of renewable natural gas along with Warburg Pincus LLC Managing Director Jeffrey Luse and Viridi RNG President and COO Chet Benham. Cody discussed how Viridi’s seasoned management team was a critical selling point in Green Rock’s decision to back the RNG investor, operator, and partner: “At Green Rock, we found what looked like great investment opportunities [in the past], but they didn't have the right management teams, and we found great management teams that were tough values in what they were looking for. Cody shared how the growing need for responsible waste management has created attractive opportunities in RNG infrastructure investments: “Areas such as renewable natural gas are presenting opportunities to help decarbonize. … We see waste volumes growing 70% by 2050 — we are all ordering more stuff, we are using more stuff, we are consuming more stuff. We have to do something with that, and there is a finite capacity within landfills.
