GRIN recently received an incredibly generous monetary donation along with a contribution of Bil Jac Dog Food and Treats. These donations were made in honor of a very special pup and his family. Ramsey, a beloved golden retriever who recently crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 14, inspired this beautiful gesture. To celebrate his life, his family chose to support GRIN, ensuring that his legacy continues to help fellow Goldens in need. We are truly honored and blown away by their kindness during this difficult time. We understand how hard it is to lose a dog, and this is a wonderful way to pay tribute to sweet Ramsey. We can only imagine that he was warmly welcomed at the rainbow bridge by tail wags from fellow GRIN dogs who have also gained their wings. Thank you to Ramsey and his family #GRINrescue #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #RainbowBridge #Donation #BilJacBeliever

A 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization in northeast Ohio dedicated to rescuing Golden Retrievers.
About us
GRIN's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes in need. We are committed to helping dogs that come to our organization whether it is via shelters, puppy mills, breeder relinquishments, strays, or owner surrenders. Our rescue efforts focus on helping local dogs, but also international dogs when possible. We are a fully volunteer run organization that is dedicated to saving as many dogs as we can; where every dollar raised goes to ensuring our rescues have the medical care and training necessary to ultimately result in a successful adoption. We are a passionate group of dog lovers that strive to educate the community on responsible dog ownership & dog advocacy. Golden Retrievers in Need Rescue Service, Inc., also known as GRIN is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in 1992 by a group of Golden Retriever enthusiasts who recognized the need to find good homes for the countless Golden Retrievers euthanized each year for lack of a loving home. Thirty years later we are proud to continue the work they began.
