It has been an energizing couple of weeks surrounding the topping-off of Capella, a 22-story luxury high-rise community developed in partnership with Southern Land Company and general contractor T.B. Penick and Sons, Inc. 🏗️👏 The topping-off of Capella marks an exciting milestone for Las Vegas as the city’s first 100 percent for-rent high-rise building and brings an impressive addition to its skyline. We look forward to seeing this vibrant community continue to come to life! Photography: Funky LLC #GDAArchitects #ToppingOff #HighRise #Design #Architecture #Construction #Development #LasVegas

If you have not had the opportunity to step into Deco, our new luxury mixed-use residential tower in Downtown Fort Worth, scroll through these photos for a glimpse at the lifestyle that awaits our residents. With a collection of 302 rental residences--all outfitted with balconies-- including penthouses in the building's uppermost floors, Deco marries style and comfort for those looking for an elevated living experience near the heart of Cowtown. The historical Art Deco influence is apparent in every detail of this community, from the steel art installation above the entrance to the various residents' lounges and amenity spaces. As we seek to anticipate our residents' needs, Deco was designed to incorporate a well-rounded collection of amenities, including a 24th floor rooftop pool deck with a bar, grills, heated spa, and 180-inch jumbotron; an adjacent residents' lounge with billiards and demonstration kitchen; a dog grooming spa; a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes and Echelon mirror; and so much more. We are grateful to have partnered with the incredibly talented teams at GDA Architects and Faulkner Design Group, who helped us design this stunning high-rise. Once you have looked through these images, learn more about Deco and the many wonderful features that will enhance our residents' lifestyles by visiting https://lnkd.in/ejNxaH2k

Deco 969 is the first residential tower built in Fort Worth in the last 20 years and is the city’s first apartment tower. The project’s success has acted as a beacon for the city and has ushered in a period of renewed interest in residential development in downtown Fort Worth. The 27-story, 302-unit mixed-use tower sits on three-quarters of a block across the intersection from the convention center, and a short walk away from both Sundance Square and Fort Worth Central Station. A stone colonnade and a series of canopies along the base of the tower tie the ground-level amenities and 8,000 sf of restaurant space to the vibrant urban fabric of the city, providing an eloquent termination point for the entertainment strip. Deco 969’s design pulls from the rich history of Art Deco in Fort Worth, blending it with modern elements to create a transitional expression that captures the soul of the city. The limestone colonnade at the street level joins at the entry with a vertical expression of stone and steel that rises past the more subdued modern elements of the tower to capture 4 floors of penthouse units at the top of the building, looking down over the pool and fitness lawn on the 24th and 25th floors. A layered stone expression surrounds the main entry, rising 7 floors to surround a 5-floor tall art piece facing the convention center and the Kennedy Memorial across the street. This month GDA celebrates its 40th year anniversary. Looking back on the last 4 decades of work, we have been blessed and accomplished more than one can ever dream of. It all started in a 20’x20’ windowless office, with 5 people working on a 15,000 sf strip mall. Today, our portfolio includes some of the tallest and most iconic buildings in Texas and beyond. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has ever been part of the GDA family (past / current staff, consultants, and clients) for all of their contributions, opportunities, and trust. Here is a big cheers to you all, for being a part of success and allowing us to continue to do what we love.
