Recently, we had the honor of gathering with some of our key partners who are making Capella, our 22-story high-rise in Downtown Las Vegas, a reality, including general contractor, T.B. Penick and Sons, Inc., our architecture partner, GDA Architects, and others, to commemorate the topping out of the building. We are grateful for the hardworking teams that have helped us reach this pivotal milestone for SLC and the City of Las Vegas, as the tower will be the first all-for-rent high-rise apartment building to grace the city's skyline. We are excited to share new details about our two new multifamily projects in Las Vegas' Symphony Park. Last week, we commemorated the topping out of the 22-story tower--which is the first all-for-rent, high-rise apartment building in Las Vegas--and revealed its name, as well as the name of its mid-rise counterpart. Meet Bria (mid-rise) and Capella (high-rise). Together, these two communities will introduce 871 luxury apartment homes and nearly 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space to Symphony Park. Bria and Capella are located across from Auric, our existing multifamily community in Symphony Park, collectively forming a harmonious trio of landmark developments that define Southern Land Company’s vision for a cohesive and transformative living experience in Symphony Park. Thanks to our construction partner T.B. Penick and Sons, Inc. and our architecture partner GDA Architects for their diligent work on these projects. We would like to congratulate Barry Caveness, Golf Service Associate at Westhaven Golf Club, who celebrated 15 years with Southern Land Company in August. Barry, who was instrumental in the opening of the club in 2009, has been a fixture on our Outside Services team from day one. He has served in various roles over the years, and spends most of his time on the range and course taking care of many of the details members might not notice every day. We are appreciative for his dedication and dependability.

We want to congratulate Amy Law, Regional Director-Community Management, who celebrated 20 years with Southern Land Company in August. As one of the earliest hires at Westhaven, our award-winning master-planned community in Franklin, Tennessee, Amy has consistently engaged with homeowners and people in the community, creating unforgettable experiences and opportunities for neighbors to become friends. Amy has been integral in making Westhaven a true community for homeowners, and her insight is helping us create similar atmospheres at our other master-planned communities across the country. We are grateful for the impact she has made at SLC, Westhaven, and beyond.

We would like to congratulate Connor Downey for being recognized as the 2024 Top Honoree in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30 program! The 2024 class raised more than $330,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with Connor securing more than $50,000. In August, Connor was recognized at the program’s finale event by 2023’s Top Honoree, Braden Eutsler with Enterprise Mobility (as seen in the second picture). "I am beyond grateful and appreciative of being selected as one of Nashville's Top 30. I want to thank all my generous donors for their support and everyone at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for putting on such an amazing program these past few months.
