How I went from a complete beginner to Clay Expert in under 6 months: If I had to start over, here's exactly what I'd do: (how to actually get good without drowning in complexity) You don't need to use every integration - just the ones that solve your current problem. You don't need to build complex workflows immediately - start small and iterate. You don't need tons of credits - leverage formulas and use your own API keys. You'll learn faster and stick to it longer. 1. Start with ONE specific use case ↳ Mine was building a targeted list of B2B SaaS companies 2. Join the Clay community immediately ↳ The Clay Slack channel and Clay hosted webinars accelerated my learning by months 3. Reverse-engineer templates instead of building from scratch ↳ I downloaded 5 public templates from Clay's website and spent hours picking them apart to understand how they were built This is exactly how I became a certified Clay product expert in under 6 months and landed my first agency clients a year ago. a photo of me in my natural habitat 😂
