About us
Since 1979, Guided Discoveries, an educational non-profit, has been offering specialized school programs and summer camps in Southern California. It's main programs have been the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI), AstroCamp, and Catalina Sea Camp. Our programs have served over 1,000,000 students across Southern California. Guided Discoveries has expanded our program to the east coast with year round programs at AstroCamp Virginia and our summer programs Camp Motorsport and Camp CHOP. Camp Motorsport is a go-kart and dirty buggy adventure camp while Camp CHOP is a culinary hands on program. CHOP is for girls and boys with a passion for everything culinary.
