GuideOne and The Mutual Group recently came together for a GuideOne Foundation volunteer event supporting the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc. to assemble care packages for their Pet Support Services program. This is a special outreach program for pet owners who struggle financially to feed and care for their animals. The program offers pet food and resources to individuals so they don't have to surrender their pets to the shelter. Employee volunteers also had the opportunity to cuddle kittens available for adoption. Bridget, Bernadette and Beatrice were popular visitors! We are grateful for the opportunity to support the ARL and their mission to protect the welfare of animals, preserve the human-animal bond and prevent the overpopulation of companion animals.
