🏌️♂️⛳ We had an incredible turnout at our Annual Guild Giving Golf Tournament! Together, we teed off for a cause, raising funds and inspiring positive change in our communities. This year’s tournament directly supported four worthy non-profits – The Urban Corps of San Diego and HomeStart focus on answering the local needs of the San Diego area, and the MBA Open Doors Foundation and the MyPath2Own get-mortgage-ready program by eHome America provide assistance to families and aspiring homeowners nationwide. The donations raised at the tournament will help young people gain needed work skills, provide shelter for single parents trying to become self-reliant, give families enduring sickness some needed relief and boost the financial eligibility of those look to purchase their first home. Throughout my career at Guild, now-retired CEO Mary Ann McGarry and I have worked side-by-side to help create the culture we have today. And now, Mary Ann (who still serves tirelessly on our board) and I get to celebrate this next generation of female leadership at our company and in our industry. It’s a big reason why we offer Spanish-language mortgage marketing and educational materials in 49 states, and formed UNIDOS, our Employee Resource Group to serve our Hispanic community at Guild. I am so encouraged by the passion, commitment, and leadership not just at Guild, but across our industry, to help more and more Hispanic Americans become homeowners.
