Over 20,000 marketers read my newsletter every week. This is what I’ve learned after two years of weekly publishing 🧠 [ad]
I started the Round Up in September 2022.
Tired of being reminded of how social media is rented territory - that could disappear at any moment.
Bans, account deactivations, platforms going south, the list goes on. I don’t know about you, but I want a brand built on a secure foundation, hey?
So, I took to email marketing and started sharing my weekly rambles - wrapping up the latest social media news, my thoughts and Pretty Little Marketer updates.
96 newsletter instalments later - I’ve learned a thing or two about this email marketing thing. Here’s what you need to know:
👋 An exclusive purpose. What can your readers get that you don’t already provide elsewhere? Why should they commit to sharing their inbox with you? What’s different from what’s shared in your content?
💌 Value their time. Know why they sign up, lock in your USP and provide the goods. Set a standard and keep it.
📸 It doesn’t have to be the best, it just has to be different. Hundreds of newsletters can wrap up the weekly marketing news, why’s mine different? How can I write in a different tone? What do people love about my brand, how can I incorporate that there? Can I spin a unique angle?
👇 But enough about me, looking for more email marketing insights and want to learn from ACTUAL pros?
