Sean Leary will lead a two-day virtual ASTM International training on performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) October 29th and 30th. The course provides an overview of pertinent environmental regulations and how to apply the Phase I standard to qualify a user for landowner liability protections. The course is a prerequisite for taking the Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) exam and becoming an ASTM CEP. On Monday, October 28th, Aimee Mountain, GISP, CPMSM will present “An Erosion Modeling Prototype for Departments of Transportation” at the Fall Northeast Arc Users Group (NEARC) Conference. Winner of a Grand Conceptor Award from ACEC-ME and ACEC National Recognition Award, the prototype toolkit used the state of Maine’s GIS data to develop a screening-level tool to identify roadways at risk, and how it can be expanded to other uses. https://lnkd.in/eCXkEA2
