Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network in NYC has Officially Launched In Manhattan! Innovation Triangle in West Harlem. Their state-of-the-art lab space will located in the Studebaker Building on Columbia University’s Manhattanville Campus. Until completion, they will be working in a temporary location at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Studebaker Building was a former automobile finishing plant. The blue Studebaker “turning wheel” logo used between 1912 and 1934 is still visible on the southwest corner near the top. Today it is now the site of Columbia’s new Manhattanville campus. @columbia Only a 6 minute bike right from Janus Property Company - Taystee Lab Life Science Building. 📷 #columbia #chanzuckerbergbiohub #czbiohubny #janusproperty #januspropertycompany #nycrealestate #westharlem #harlemrealestate #nycbuildings #nycofficespace #nycofficespaces #nycworkspaces #manhattanville #innovationtriangle #realestateexperts #realestateexpert #realestatedeveloper #realestatedevelopers #taysteelabbuilding #minkbuilding #malthouse #commercialrealestate #residentialrealestate #iloveny #westharlemrealestate #nycbuilds #nycarchitecture #buildingnyc #realestateinvestor #bestofthebest

Thank You New York Post for the insightful article on Janus Property Company and the advancements of life sciences taking place in West Harlem; Innovation Triangle. “Across cities, life sciences endeavors “to discover things that help human beings that nobody’s been able to do before,” explained Scott Metzner, one of two principals at Taystee’s developer Janus Property Company, which also produced the neighboring Mink, Malt House and Sweets buildings. These projects create a commercial corridor that houses bio-tech tenants such as BioBus, Quicksilver Biosciences, and biotech incubator Harlem Biospace.” Here in photo with Scott is Jerry Salama. Melissa Mae Kors truly captured the essence of life science innovation in West Harlem. We are truly honored to have her art as the centerpiece at Harlem Biospace @ Mink
Brilliant Work of Melissa Mae Kors at Harlem Biospace @ Mink - Janus Property Company in West Harlem. Look closely at the 2nd photo - “It’s a map of West Harlem. At the bottom is the Columbia Library. The streets are curved to make it look like a microscopic view of a plant stem.” Artist Statement I was commissioned by Harlem Biospace to create a decorative painting for their new innovative office/lab rental space in the historical Mink Building. They wanted the painting to capture Science and West Harlem. I propose to create a painting that intertwines an aerial map of West Harlem and a microscopic view of a plant stem. They loved the idea, so I went to their space to see where they wanted the 5’ x 12’ painting and what colors were in the space. The painting on the left is the map of West Harlem. It captures 116th St.to136th St. and 12tth Ave to Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. Buildings shown are the Harlem Biospace Mink Building and Sweets Laboratories Building, Jerome L. Greene Science Center, Columbia University Science Building and Library, and CUNY Advanced Science Research Center. Also if you look close enough at the middle painting you can see metallic silver letters spelling out the word Harlem. 📷 #melissamaekors #nycart #janusproperty #januspropertycompany #nycrealestate #westharlem #harlemrealestate #nycbuildings #nycofficespace #nycofficespaces #nycworkspaces #manhattanville #innovationtriangle #realestateexperts #realestateexpert #realestatedeveloper #realestatedevelopers #taysteelabbuilding #minkbuilding #malthouse #commercialrealestate #residentialrealestate #iloveny #westharlemrealestate #nycbuilds #nycarchitecture #buildingnyc #realestateinvestor #bestofthebest
