The Long Island Business Development Council hosted its annual conference early October and presented an award to the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (NCIDA) for Tweezerman International LLC in Port Washington, NY. Attorneys Andrew Komaromi from our Public Finance and Economic Development Practice Group and John Anzalone from our Commercial Real Estate Practice Group were involved with the Agency on the project. Tweezerman International LLC sought assistance from Nassau IDA to expand in Port Washington to accommodate increased sales of its personal grooming products business. Harris Beach represented the Agency in negotiating the assistance granted to Tweezerman to induce it to retain its current manufacturing facility on Long Island and preserve the employment of its workforce in the metropolitan region. #publicfinance #economicdevelopment #IDA
