She was the only interior designer from the southeast to take home a prize from some 16,000 entries and only 12 professional honorees. Midwestern Baroque: our design for St. John Paul II in Olathe, KS was recently featured in Liturgical Arts Journal. This multi-phase campus project includes a new church, school, parish hall, rectory, and cemetery. Taking cues from both the Vatican in homage to the pontificate of S. In celebration of this weekend's Institute of Classical Architecture & Art #Shutze Celebrations, we're reflecting on our award-winning Shutze project in Atlanta, Georgia. Drawing inspiration from the Ecole des Beaux Arts, the Bellingrath townhomes feature #limestone and brick facades with mansard roofs and elegant iron detailing. The development includes eight 7,000-sq-ft homes, each offering spacious living areas, paneled libraries, 12-foot ceilings, rooftop terraces, and a private elevator. Each month, Harrison Design offices partake in a 15-minute sketch challenge focused on a significant architectural structure. This month, we head to Long Island, New York to visit a #historic renovation project by Harrison Design. In a #renovation of a historic 1920s estate, the goal was to strike a careful balance between preservation and meeting the modern needs of the 21st century.
