Pichon Comtesse: 20 Vintages . So many takeaways from last week's Pichon tasting @lafayette380. 1928 out of magnum was singing! Remarkably fresh fruit within the layers and layers of tertiaries. Went too quickly to know how long it would've lasted. Unsurprisingly, 1966 was the evening's showstopper - a credit to the vintage and to the provenance of all these bottles. '82, '86, '90, and '95 all showed tremendously well. The younger we got, the more Pichon Comtesse's insane quality (and value!) came into focus.
