Partners and team members joined together to commemorate the final steel beam being lifted into place at Ulana Ward Village. This accomplishment marks a major construction milestone for the neighborhood’s ninth residential tower. Ulana will add 697 workforce housing units for qualified Hawaiʻi residents and will create a new public park and children's play area.   Carrying on our tradition of "topping off and giving back," Ward Village and our construction partner Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company (HDCC) donated $40,000 to the State of Hawai‘i Department of Education’s middle school Career Connections program, offered through a partnership with the Hawai‘i Carpenters Apprenticeship and Training Fund. Both Ward Village and HDCC share a desire to support the next generation of skilled workers who will shape Hawaiʻi’s future.   In recognition of all the construction trades and individuals who made this achievement possible, Ward Village and HDCC hosted an appreciation lunch at the site. The celebration invited the team to come together and enjoy lunch, gifts of appreciation, and more.   We are grateful to all those who have helped make this achievement possible! #wardvillage #howardhughes Howard Hughes Holdings Inc.

It was inspiring to connect with so many talented students and industry leaders, exchanging ideas and discussing the future of engineering. Grateful for the opportunity to network, learn about innovative projects, and explore exciting career opportunities. Thank you to the University of Hawaii - College of Engineering and all the companies that made this event a success! #UhCollegeofEngineering #Networking #FutureLeaders #Innovation
