Happy National Intern Day! This week our summer interns participated in a team-building urban scavenger hunt with “Game the City.” The event put interns’ problem solving skills and creativity to the test while fostering teamwork. Marketing intern Kathryn Schaefer shared her thoughts on the experience: "Participating in the scavenger hunt around New York City with my fellow interns was an exhilarating, bonding experience from start to finish. Our team worked together analyzing cryptic clues to uncover 10 spots throughout the city. The competitive spirit among us fueled our determination to solve each clue efficiently, all while bonding over shared excitement and laughter. What made the experience truly memorable was getting to know many of the other interns and discovering areas of New York I had been unfamiliar with before. The scavenger hunt will be cherished as a highlight of this summer’s internship experience at Haymarket, and I look forward to further building the positive connections I have found with my coworkers." Today we would like to recognize our interns and celebrate the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow!
