National Night Out was a huge success, and Haywood County Schools was proud to support the City of Brownsville in bringing our community together for this special event! A special thank you to Sunbelt Rentals for their generous donation of school supplies, which were all handed out during the event. Our students left with smiles and excitement. It was a wonderful evening where neighbors and local law enforcement strengthened relationships, promoted safety, and built a stronger, more connected community. We loved seeing so many students, families, staff and community members come out to join in the fun, unity, and celebration!

🎉 Congratulations to Haywood High School’s 2023-2024 Certified Nursing Assistants! 🏥 These dedicated students have completed three TCAT dual enrollment health science courses, mastering both classroom and clinical coursework. Their exceptional academic, clinical, and professional skills have qualified them to sit for the state CNA exam. Thanks to the tireless efforts of both students and instructors, our Career and Technical Education program has achieved a district record with 25 students earning this prestigious certification. This milestone not only prepares them for high-demand healthcare roles but also sets them up for success in their future studies.
