Our Salt Lake team recently attended the WE Hub event hosted by CHG Healthcare, where we explored key topics and connected with leaders to discuss the challenges shaping today’s workplaces. The event also marked the official launch of the Workplace Evolutionaries (WE) Utah Hub, an initiative designed to drive workplace strategy and innovation across the state. A panel featuring leaders from CHG Healthcare, Mountain America Credit Union, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shared valuable insights on effective workplace strategies and how WE Hub fosters stronger connections within Utah’s business community. HB Workplaces is honored to have collaborated with Renown Health on a project that will have a lasting impact on the community. Our Reno team supported the new 121,000-square-foot Specialty Care Center at Renown South Meadows Medical Center, designed to enhance care, support healing, and meet the growing healthcare needs of Northern Nevada. This project was made possible through collaboration with Renown Health, Gilbane Building Company, Cumming Group, Perkins&Will, and the Renown Interiors team—Samantha Koblitz, Nancy Bell, and Katie Moresi. With Floors 1 and 2 complete and Floor 3 opening this summer, we are grateful to have contributed to a space that will benefit the community for years to come. Our Las Vegas team is excited to showcase the Agilysys office—an innovative workplace designed to foster collaboration, flexibility, and growth. In partnership with Gensler Las Vegas, we delivered a solution that seamlessly integrates prefabricated walls and thoughtfully curated furniture, creating a tailored environment that supports Agilysys' diverse work styles and their forward-thinking approach to hospitality technology. Situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Narrative Building, the office is bathed in abundant natural light, effortlessly managed by Lutron Electronics roller shades designed to preserve stunning views. As an added perk, Agilysys employees enjoy access to the building’s shared amenities, also designed by Gensler, including an outdoor patio and a kitchen/living room area—ideal for social gatherings and informal collaboration. A heartfelt thank you to Agilysys for entrusting us with this vision, and to the incredible project team, including, Gensler Las Vegas, Burke Construction Group, Compass Development, LaPour, G2 Capital Development, and many others, for their expertise and dedication. We were honored to attend the NAIOP Northern Nevada Commercial Real Estate gathering, "The Phantom of NAIOPERA," celebrating industry achievements. Our team was excited to see several projects we contributed to, including Ormat Technologies, Inc., City of Reno Public Safety Center, and the Renown Health Simulation Lab, receive well-deserved recognition. A special congratulations to our A&D partner, OneStudio D+A, not only for these awards but also for being named Architecture Firm of the Year. Additionally, our Reno Market President, Stephanie Van Woert, who serves on the NAIOP Northern Nevada Board and chairs the Programs Committee, had the honor of presenting several awards, providing a great opportunity to support and connect with top developers, owners, and professionals.
