  • One nurse explains why she enjoys her career with our hospital. “I started here as a Unit Secretary, never dreaming one day I’d be an RN,” reflects Cheryl Franklin-Anderson, RN, a nurse in the Medical-Surgical Unit at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. Now, one of my granddaughters wants to be a nurse and my daughter, whose currently an LPN, wants to become an RN. That makes me so proud because nursing is truly a wonderful career and here at Pasadena we work within a culture of respect and communication that makes it all worthwhile. I love the people I work with and I love HCA.” Learn about career opportunities at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital: https://bit.ly/4dbDJZy #WeShowUp #Unlock Possibilities #WorkWithUs

  • Congratulations to Dr. Fritz Brink for being named HCA Florida Pasadena's Physician of the Month! Dr. Brink's nominator said, "He has been such a great asset to our Wound Care Center staff! When he first started, he was eager to learn from the seasoned staff and took the initiative to seek clinical evidence to back his plans of care. He has been innovative and shared new thoughts and ideas with the staff. I have watched him prioritize and handle a very busy surgeon's schedule, all while making each patient and staff member feel important and heard. He is compassionate and takes the time to fully explain things to his patients, who all love him! He has helped us out many times, covering for other providers, seeing urgent cases, and filling voids in our hyperbaric provider schedule on his days away from the clinic. Most of all, he brings a smile and a positive attitude to our clinic every time he works." Congratulations, Dr. Brink. And thank you for all you do for the HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital patients.
