Colleague Spotlight Joed Troche embarked on his journey with HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital six years ago as a security guard. Originally from Puerto Rico, where he dedicated 17 years as a paramedic, Joed's passion for healthcare and helping others has been unwavering. After relocating to Florida in 2018, he was eager to reenter the healthcare field. Following 4.5 years in security, Joed transitioned to a Patient Care Technician role in the Emergency Department, where he has excelled. His outstanding contributions have garnered praise from patients and colleagues alike. Joed is deeply appreciative of the chance to return to patient care, sharing, "HCA Healthcare has allowed me to pursue my passion for caring for patients in our community. I’m grateful to have a leader like Amy who believed in me and provided this opportunity.
