Key Responsibilities: ▪️ Lead group obedience-based training with Veterans and their canine companions. ▪️ Develop training schedules to ensure that canines and handlers reach their fullest potential. ▪️ Conduct public access outings, evaluate progress, and make adjustments as needed. ▪️ Keep updated paperwork and logs of training activities. ▪️ Assist with AKC Public Access certification and provide input on canine training SOPs. Qualifications: ▪️ Minimum of 5 years of dog training/handling experience, with expertise in obedience training. ▪️ Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. ▪️ Experience with canine training classes and evaluating canine-handler pairs.
