Mr. Jim Hennessy is a seasoned Business Operations and Technology Executive with a wealth of leadership experience across diverse industries, including healthcare IT, retail, and financial services. With a proven track record of spearheading major business change initiatives, developing service programs, and transforming IT organizations. Currently, Mr. Hennessy serves as the President of e4health, a consulting firm renowned for offering a comprehensive suite of services and LEAN engineered approaches to assist healthcare organizations in navigating complex change events. His tenure at e4health spans over 16 years, where he also held the position of Chief Executive Officer, demonstrating his commitment to the firm's long-term vision and success. Prior to his role at e4health, Mr. Hennessy was the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Advisor to the CEO at i3ARCHIVE, Inc/NDMA. Here, he played a critical role in advancing the company from a start-up to an early-stage enterprise with over 60 employees. His leadership in establishing and managing all operational activities, including technology operations, product management, development, and sales, was pivotal in positioning the company as a preferred communications infrastructure and clinical intelligence platform for healthcare IT initiatives. Mr. Hennessy's career also includes a significant tenure as the Chief Information Officer at Dollar Financial Group, Inc., where he was recruited as the first CIO to a $200 million privately owned company. He was responsible for overseeing the IT operations across over 1,000 retail locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. With a strong foundation in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mr. Hennessy began his career at SMS/Siemens Medical Solutions. Over 14 years, he held various senior management positions within the Outsourcing Services Division, where he developed, grew, and managed numerous service and support programs, solidifying his expertise in healthcare IT solutions. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Hennessy is deeply committed to community service. Ms. Mirecia Blackwood is a dedicated and accomplished healthcare professional, currently serving as the Senior Clinical Research Program Manager, Regulatory at Northwell Health Cancer Institute. With a career rooted in the vital intersection of health data management and clinical research, Ms. Blackwood plays a crucial role in advancing cancer research and improving patient outcomes. She oversees the regulatory compliance of clinical trials, ensuring that all data collected adheres to institutional guidelines and maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy. Ms. Blackwood has been instrumental in opening clinical trials across various disease teams, including hematology, oncology, infectious diseases, and HIV/AIDS. Her collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and coordination with internal and external Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) highlights her expertise in managing complex clinical research processes. She ensures that financial disclosures and conflicts of interest reported by investigators and advanced care providers are meticulously documented and communicated, safeguarding the integrity of the research. Prior to her current role, Ms. Blackwood was a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwell Health. Her responsibilities included managing regulatory aspects of clinical trials, coordinating patient care, and maintaining detailed electronic health records (EHR). Ms. Blackwood’s career in healthcare began at Interfaith Medical Center, where she held several roles over a span of more than four years. As a Care Navigator from November 2020 to November 2021, she was responsible for developing service plans, conducting biannual reassessments, and ensuring patients adhered to their medical care and medication regimens. Her role also involved providing counseling for stress reduction and crisis intervention, preparing reports, and serving as a liaison between various service providers and primary care. Ms. Blackwood’s academic achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, graduating cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Executive Management from St. John’s University. Additionally, she holds multiple certifications in project management, further underscoring her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ms. Mirecia Blackwood’s leadership, expertise, and dedication to improving healthcare outcomes make her a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.
