✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ Community partnerships are essential to successfully enhancing the health of the community. We actively seek opportunities to partner with other community health service providers and organizations to enhance our impact and further our mission.

✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ After helping community members enroll in affordable health coverage, Larimer Health Connect staff show them how to get the most out of their new coverage and share information about key aspects of health insurance.

✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ From 1997 to 2012, the Health District helped hundreds of residents achieve a balanced, healthy, and sustainable diet through nutrition counseling, a weight management course called Healthy Weighs, and a variety of cooking classes. 

✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ “Health District on the Move” was a grant-funded program from 2002-2005 that helped employees of local businesses put their best foot forward toward a healthier lifestyle. Armed with pedometers supplied by the Health District, participants aimed to walk 10,000 steps per day.

✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ The Health District has engaged partnerships with local organizations throughout its history to enhance the collective benefit to community health. Our Family Dental Clinic staff has helped improve oral health among youth by working with our partners to provide dental screenings and education for children.

✨ 30 Ways to a Healthier Community ✨ Since 2002, the Connections program has offered services and referrals to adults with mental health or substance use challenges. It is a unique program that empowers and supports community members as they navigate the network of behavioral health services in Larimer County and served more than 2,800 adults in 2023.
