Fitness Coordinator @ IBM Headquarters / Strength & Endurance Coach / B.S. Kinesiology / FMT / NLP Practitioner
Do you prefer to get your flyers in person, or online? Sometimes an inbox can get swamped with messages related to work, advertising, or media. However, a colorful print out in front of you will surely can have a better chance of catching your attention compared to another spam email. Even at a place like IBM, where technology is *literally* the nature of the business, our fitness center bulletin boards attract many eyes throughout the month! The HealthFitness team here at IBM use it to showcase the materials shared online on Slack or email to ensure everyone is able to see it. It is vital to connect with your members online since it will reach them anytime, anywhere. However, using physical resources help open up a person-to-person conversation about "what" is happening, rather than always relaying letters on a screen. Keeping the 'Personal' in 'Personal Training' one print out at a time! 😀

Wellness Coordinator HealthFitness, supporting our client with knowledge to make them safer and healthier, physically/mentally. Personal Fitness Trainer, Multi Client Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, MTS Certified
30 in 7 - in aiming for 30 different plant based foods per week, it can be overwhelming to purchase too many at one time. Not to mention the risk of them going bad , or at least not be as fresh, when you get the chance to use them. I tend to buy my produce for 2 to 3 days of planned meals at a time. Maybe you enjoy going to the farmers market a couple of times a week like I do. Maybe you just don’t have that kind of time and you would do better purchasing in one market trip a week with some fresh produce for immediate use and frozen fruits and vegetables for later in the week. At HealthFitness we give you the tools that help you succeed in your journey to a healthier you. Not every solution works for everybody. We recognize that and work to help you find YOUR solution.

We love this inspiring message! We're on a mission to improve the health and wellbeing of those we serve.
Yesterday marked the end of my first month with HealthFitness. Everyone knows the current job market isn't a friendly one. I had spent 5 months, applied to more than 300 roles, and interviewed over 40 times before landing here. But honestly - it was worth the wait. I've been made to feel so welcome by the people around me - colleagues and our incredible, hard-working clients. After spending so long not knowing how I'd get through a day, now I'm always looking forward: Looking forward to seeing my regulars - and new faces in the gym. Looking forward to collaborating with my coworkers. Looking forward to finding meaningful ways to engage our members. Looking forward to taking and creating opportunities to bring more people closer to their health and wellness goals. Next week, I'll be starting a run of classes on barbell lifts and continuing a series designed to help absolute beginners feel comfortable taking on the fitness center. In addition to my regular classes; I want there to be something for everyone. Stay strong :)
