Last week the Healthcare Building Solutions Transition team was brought onsite to assist Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in developing their Patient Journey Through the Facility workflow for their new Plum Ambulatory Medical Pavilion. Workflow events are collaborative, interactive, insightful, and essential to bringing a building to life. These events bring individuals from each facet of the organization together to develop processes that enhance the experience for staff, patients, and their families. Last week HBS facilitated how patients and their families will traverse the new pavilion and how they will flow through each interdisciplinary clinic. Many important decisions were made throughout these nine sessions, and staff became oriented with their new spaces. The RWJBH teams will utilize the output from these sessions to continue developing auxiliary workflows, create orientation and training content, and prepare for their building-wide Day in the Life event this spring. We commend the teams on their contributions to these sessions and for making last week a success. #PatientJourney #WorkflowEvents #RWJBH #BringingBuildingsToLife #HealthcareSolutions #TransitionPlanning #WeAreHBS
