Our team was all smiles last week when facilitating Dress Rehearsals in sunny San Diego. In preparation for the activation of their new space, the team had the opportunity to run through planned workflows and become familiar with the new department adjacencies. No matter the size of your project, providing staff an opportunity to work in their new space prior to caring for patients ensures staff feel confident and prepared to support operations. Yellow Brick was back in action in Dayton, Ohio, last week, leading phase one of workflow planning with one of our favorite groups of people, our friends from Dayton Children's Hospital. Behavioral Health Facility workflow planning requires a unique approach and a team that understands the specific considerations for the patient population and staff needs. Our all-star team, led by our Director of Behavioral Health Services, Donna Demerjian, PhD, LCSW, LBBP, included Kelly Guzman MN, RN, FAAN, Hajar Ahmed, MPH, and Morgan Belfer, who facilitated two days of planning to complete the foundational workflows that will support phase two in just a couple of months.
