💛 Winner Amongst Winners 💙 Recently, our CEO, Candra Jalloh had the incredible honor of attending a women's leadership event alongside the Washington Mystics and other distinguished leaders, including: Sheila Johnson: American billionaire businesswoman, co-founder of BET, and CEO of Salamander Hotels and Resorts. Thea Noeliva LaFond: Dominican-American track and field athlete, 2024 Olympic gold medalist in the triple jump, and Dominica’s first-ever Olympic medalist. Angel McCoughtry: Former professional basketball player, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and franchise player for the Atlanta Dream. But there’s another champion in the room—Candra Jalloh! Candra was a star athlete before leading Health & Joy Services as CEO. She captained the Eleanor Roosevelt High School girls' basketball team in PG County and was the starting point guard for all four years at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. Her leadership on the court is now mirrored in her business life, where she directs with strategy, vision, and determination. As the CEO of Health & Joy Services and the Director of iCAN Non-Profit, Candra has shown the same drive and tenacity off the court, excelling as a leader while balancing the roles of a dedicated wife and mother of three.
