RISE is very appreciative of the quick response by the Saratoga Springs Department of Public Works (DWP) for their quick response to assist in managing flood waters at the Adelphi Street Shelter after a recent summer storm. The DWP's efforts helped us remove the water, dry out the floors, and prevent further damage to out guest's belongings. Thank you very much! #StrongerTogether

RISE is excited about the prospect of Shelters of Saratoga acquiring a permanent home for the county Code Blue shelter. We have our fingers crossed that the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors approve the purchase! A thank you to Supervisor Matthew E. Veitch for his tireless work and support of this project, and the full Board for their consideration. The new location is right around the corner from RISE, which will enable us to continue to strengthen our partnership with Shelters of Saratoga in our endeavors to end homelessness in our county. Life management skills include the ability to plan and follow through with tasks, develop and engage in personal goals for change, and the ability to use assertive communication to get needs met. In our residential programs, our staff works with the residents to increase these skills to improve their ability to successfully transition into independent living in the community. #CreatingCommunity #SupportinSuccess
