This ensures that contributions are seen as a standard part of professional development rather than an opportunity for individual grandstanding. 3. To further reinforce the importance of open-source work, the organization should provide clear support and recognition for these contributions. This can be achieved by incorporating open-source project milestones into career progression frameworks, celebrating key contributions in company-wide communications, and offering incentives that align with the open-source philosophy.
