We are proud to share that associates at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington took part in Maryland Department of Health 's Project Firstline Escape Room training last month. Project Firstline trainings, developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , use an interactive approach to emphasize the importance of adhering to infection control practices to prevent the transmission of infections. Topics include hand hygiene, environmental disinfection, PPE use and source control. HHGW associates in nursing, physical therapy, recreational therapy and environmental services participated in the training. HHGW is also the first skilled nursing facility in Maryland to attain the train the trainer certificate, which will allow our associates to implement the training across CESLC's campus. Thank you to all who participated and who will participate for your commitment to continuous improvement and delivering quality care to all those we serve!

Wasserman residents recently enjoyed a culinary exploration event where they learned from the talented team at Unidine ! Clinical Dietician Ruby Sprehe, Executive Chef Israel Castellon and Sous Chef Shamal Watkins demonstrated how to construct a mouthwatering garden herb salad with basil, mint, cilantro, and a zesty spring onion chutney. The event was a blast, with laughter, learning, and delicious food. If you want to make this salad for yourself, click the link below: https://birdeye.cx/pcdfic
